The first community meeting

We held our first community meeting today at Javapalooza in Middletown. Three people showed up to say hi and voice their comments or ask questions about the newspaper.

All in all, we consider it a successful first meeting and we look forward to meeting more of our readers throughout the rest of the week.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, we will be in Cromwell at Mitchell's on Main Street from 2 to 3 p.m. Please come see us!

I appreciate the effort you have made to get in touch with the readers. I am sure you can tell by reading comment section most want/need to remain anonymous. This is how they can say what they really think about local issues and nonsense in general. I guess it is needed especially in this day and age. Life is stressful for all of us.I applaud the way you keep trying to find new ways to improve the paper. can you hear the applause? Listen...ear next to monitor, listen...hear the applause? Now take a bow for a job well done!...Sardonica clap clap clap

Thanks, Sardonica.

Like I posted in a comment in the story section, we will do more of these community meetings after this week as well. We will try to do a morning meeting and an evening meeting for people who are unable to attend during the day.

Anyone else with comments or concerns who can't or don't want to come meet us in person is welcome to e-mail me at vsundqvist@middletownpress.com
